Samtrygg is an online marketplace for secondhand rentals. Their service is a lot like using Blocket ( or Craigslist if you live in the United States ) with the extra security they provide by vetting landlords and renters as well as insurance.
They approached Betalo, another company I was working with, to solicit the use of their designer for their site redesign. There were many things that weren't working well with their original website. One of the things they struggled with was properly displaying apartment features and photos in an attractive way; because many of Samtrygg's customers/users were uploading photos of their apartments from their mobile phones.
For this project, I performed market research, presented mood boards, built sitemaps with wireframes that illustrated user flow, built a Ui Kit, and in the end, developed the frontend framework with HTML(5),CSS(SASS), and Javascript which they are still building on top of today.
The design has evolved since we first launched v.2, but the color palette, typography, and many of the supporting pages are still the original ones that I worked on in 2016.
